Review for Inhabitat Design Studios Limited
We appointed Inhabitat Design Studios to help us explore the development potential of our property in Datchet, which includes an existing cottage and commercial building.
It wasn't a straightforward brief. We considered a number of different development options and needed a design that made better use of the existing building while also responding sensitively to the character of the site and surrounding properties.
Sandra and Oscar have been excellent to work with throughout. They listened carefully to what we wanted to achieve, challenged and developed our ideas where appropriate, and translated them into a practical architectural solution. As our thinking evolved, they were flexible and willing to explore different options rather than simply pushing us towards the first solution.
The three things we have valued most are their creativity, their collaborative approach and their responsiveness as the project has developed. They have also worked constructively with our planning consultant and the wider professional team, which has been particularly valuable given the complexities of the project.
